In essence, we were two very lucky newlyweds who got to sit down in a sea of Lego and ask ourselves a
luxurious question:
In a perfect world, what kind of space would you want to live in?
The answer was clear: a sea of Lego.

When you build on the Canadian Shield, the rocks have their way with you.

André and his crew of framers just nodded when we showed them the plan for the flying carpet, or
"tapis volant".
They picked up their chainsaws and made it appear - walking on inch-and-a-half wide boards, thirty-three feet in the air.

It was Roxy Music who said "Love is the drug", but it was Eric who said, "Air is the
insulator".
Aaaah, NOW I understand.
Don't cram the insulation in there… just lightly stuff.

They hunt deer and moose. They play with Lego. They carry chainsaws and balance on tightropes. They make
us laugh. They teach us en français. They are our friends and contractors.
